We currently collect and process the following information:
- Personal identifiers, name, mobile number, date of birth, post code & email address.
As an employee
- To meet HMRC requirements regarding pay, contracts, training etc
- For insurance purposes
How we get the personal information and why we have it
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you, either over the telephone or in person, for one or more of the following reasons:
- To ensure the child/adult is on the most applicable kart to their age
- Record of permission to drive from parent/guardian and legal record of their age check.
- Required by our insurance provider
- After making a booking to forward terms and conditions to you and booking confirmation.
- To process a payment – no numbers, dates are viewable or recorded.
As an employee
- To meet HMRC requirements regarding pay, contracts, training etc
- For insurance purposes
We use the information that you have given us in order to provide risk assessment for kart type and session. Contact with you, should we need to cancel or change your booking.
We may share this information with our Insurance Provider or emergency services.
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
- Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting Coast 2 Coast Karting
- We have a contractual obligation.
- We have a legal obligation.

- Your information is securely stored.
- We are obliged to keep disclaimers for eight years We will then dispose your information by incineration.
- When booking over the telephone, the details you provide are entered in a booking system hosted by Smart Entertainment Ltd.
